Guidelines

EPH-International Journal of Applied Science has established these standards to guide authors through the process from article submission to publication. These requirements must be followed by authors, and we carefully review each submitted article against these guidelines to ensure quality and consistency.

Article Submission and Publication Policies

  • Articles must be original and should not have been previously published or be under consideration by another publisher at the time of submission.

  • Changes to articles after submission are allowed only as per our journal’s policies.

  • We accept only unique, authentic manuscripts.

  • Once an article is submitted and accepted for consideration, authors cannot retract it.

  • Our editors and peer reviewers reserve the right to make any formatting or editorial adjustments deemed necessary.

  • Upon submission, authors are required to pay the processing fee. If an author withdraws the article after acceptance or submission, the initial fee will not be refunded.

Our journal policies and the authors’ compliance with these rules affect the validity and integrity of the published work. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening on receipt. We may collect formatting fees based on the specific journal requirements. Authors can always contact the journal’s official email for any inquiries related to their articles or publication processes.

Author’s Assurance

Authors submitting to EPH-International Journal of Applied Science must confirm that:

  • The work is original, authored by the named individuals, and has not been published elsewhere.

  • The manuscript contains no defamatory or illegal content.

  • The manuscript does not infringe on privacy or property rights.

  • Necessary permissions have been obtained for any copyrighted material or personal data included.

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Purpose and Structure

A manuscript is a written document presenting research findings to the scientific community and public. Proper preparation ensures clarity and facilitates peer review and publication.

Formatting Recommendations

  • Use Times New Roman font for readability and professional presentation.

  • Use A4 paper size with 1-inch margins on all sides.

  • Indent paragraphs by 5–7 spaces.

  • Use 10-point font size with single line spacing.

  • Center all figures and tables on the page; number and cite them correctly in the text.

  • Avoid text wrapping around tables and figures.

Content Components

Provide a concise and descriptive title that reflects the scope and findings of the study clearly.

Abstract
Summarize the key points of the manuscript in 1–2 sentences, outlining the main objective and results.

Introduction
Explain the study’s purpose, objectives, and hypothesis. Include a brief background with references to previous work to contextualize your research.

Materials and Methods
Detail the procedures, materials, instruments, and statistical methods used, enabling reproducibility by other researchers.

Results
Present data objectively using tables, charts, and graphs. Label all clearly with captions explaining the data without interpretation. Discuss any study limitations.

Conclusion
Summarize the main findings and how the study objectives were met. Avoid introducing new data or literature. Discuss the implications and limitations of the study clearly and concisely.

References
List all references according to the citation style required by the target journal, typically following the ICMJE Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals.

Duplicate and Redundant Publication

Avoid publishing in predatory or low-quality journals, which can reduce the visibility and impact of your research. Duplicate or redundant publications hinder scientific progress and diminish the author’s credibility.
