Instruction For Authors

1. Aim & Scope

EPH-IJAS publishes original research papers, case studies, reviews, and short communications in all areas of applied science and technology. The journal welcomes contributions from researchers, academics, and industry professionals worldwide.

2. Ethics & Originality

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, authenticity, and integrity of their work.

  • All submissions will be checked for plagiarism; papers with more than 20% similarity will be rejected.

  • Any form of data fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism will result in rejection and possible blacklisting.

3. Manuscript Types

  • Research Articles: Full-length original research.

  • Review Papers: Comprehensive overviews of current research.

  • Short Communications: Brief reports of significant findings.

  • Case Studies: Practical and applied examples.

4. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be prepared in MS Word, single-column format, following this sequence:

  1. Title – Concise and descriptive (maximum 15 words).

  2. Author(s) & Affiliation(s) – Full names, institutional addresses, and email IDs.

  3. Abstract – 150–250 words summarizing the research.

  4. Keywords – 4–6 keywords, separated by commas.

  5. Introduction – Context, background, and objectives.

  6. Materials & Methods – Detailed methodology for reproducibility.

  7. Results – Clear presentation of findings (tables/figures as needed).

  8. Discussion – Interpretation of results, implications, and limitations

  9. Conclusion – Summary of findings and future scope.

  10. Acknowledgements – If applicable.

  11. References – Follow APA or Harvard style; all cited references must be relevant and recent.

5. Formatting Guidelines

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.

  • Spacing: Single spacing throughout.

  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides.

  • Tables & Figures: Number sequentially, include captions, and cite in text.

  • Use SI units consistently.

6. Submission Process

  • Prepare the manuscript in the required format.

  • Email the manuscript to: editor@eijas.com.

  • Include a cover letter stating:

    • Title of the paper

    • Type of article

    • Declaration of originality

7. Review Process

  • All submissions undergo double-blind peer review.

  • The review process typically takes 1–3 weeks.

  • Authors must address reviewers’ feedback before final acceptance.

8. Publication Charges

  • The journal charges a nominal fee to cover publication and maintenance costs.

  • Charges are communicated to authors upon acceptance.

9. Copyright & Licensing (DOAJ-Compliant)

  • Authors retain copyright of their work.

  • Authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute the article.

  • All articles are published open access under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing others to share, copy, distribute, and adapt the work, provided the original author(s) and source are properly credited.

  • No copyright transfer to the journal is required.
